This policy describes how the Sudoku mobile application (“App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the App.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Account data. If you sign in (e.g. with Google or email), we process identifiers and profile information needed to provide an account (such as user ID, display name, and email where applicable).
Gameplay and progress. We store game-related data (e.g. puzzles, statistics, achievements, leaderboard-related fields) as needed for the features you use.
Device and diagnostics. We may collect limited technical information (e.g. app version, crash logs) to maintain and improve the App using services such as Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, where enabled.
Notifications. If you enable reminders, we process data required to schedule or deliver those notifications.

3. How we use information

We use the information to provide and improve the App, authenticate users, sync progress, operate leaderboards and social features you opt into, analyze aggregate usage, fix crashes, and comply with law.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

If laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on appropriate bases including performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g. security and product improvement), and consent where required (e.g. certain analytics or marketing).

5. Sharing

We use service providers to run the App, including Google Firebase (e.g. Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config, Analytics, Crashlytics) and other infrastructure as integrated in the App. These providers process data according to their terms and privacy policies.

We do not sell your personal information as defined under applicable U.S. state laws. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information as long as needed to provide the App and as required by law. You may request deletion of your account where the App offers an in-app account deletion flow, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your region without appropriate compliance. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including outside your country of residence.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise applicable rights.
